Description
Overview
The 3M™ Particulate Filter 2138 is a disc-style, P3 R (re-usable) particulate filter with integrated activated carbon layer, designed for use with 3M reusable respirators featuring bayonet-type connections (3M 6000, 6500/6500QL, 7000/7500, and FF-400 series).

- Compact, low-profile disc design fits comfortably under welding shields and maintains field of vision
- Integrated activated carbon layer for dual protection
- Lightweight at approximately 15 g per filter (30 g per pair)
- Re-usable design with simple bayonet twist-and-click connection
Protection Specifications
- Particulate Protection (P3 R): Solid and liquid particles including fine dust, mist, smoke, fumes, asbestos, bacteria, welding fume, and grinding particles
- Ozone Protection: Up to 10× OEL/WES
- Organic Vapours: Nuisance-level relief from low vapor pressure organic compounds (typically <1.3 Pa at 25°C), below exposure limits
- Acid Gases: Nuisance-level relief below OEL/TLV thresholds

Packaging & Use
Supplied as pairs in sealed bags, replaceable when breathing resistance increases or contamination/damage occurs. Compatible with all 3M bayonet-connection half and full-face respirator masks.
