Overview
The 3M™ Organic Vapour Cartridge Filter 6055, A2 is a reusable gas and vapour filter cartridge from the 3M™ 6000 Series, designed to protect against organic vapours with boiling points greater than 65 °C. This filter features high-performance activated carbon in a low-profile, twin-filter bayonet design that balances weight distribution while maintaining an unobstructed field of vision.

Protection Performance
- With half facepiece: Organic vapours up to 10 × Workplace Exposure Standard (WES) and < IDLH
- With full facepiece: Organic vapours up to 100 × WES or 5000 ppm (whichever is lower) and < IDLH
Applications
Ideal for spray painting, brush and roller painting, and work with solvent-based paints, adhesives, cleaning agents, and organic solvents (toluene, xylene, MEK).
Storage & Shelf Life
- Shelf life: Up to 5 years from date of manufacture (unopened)
- Storage conditions: –10 °C to +50 °C, < 90% relative humidity, in original packaging
- Note: Store sealed when not in use to prevent migration of low-boiling organic compounds
