The 3M™ Gas and Vapour Filter 6059, ABEK1 is a bayonet-connection cartridge filter designed for use with compatible 3M half and full facepiece respirators, including the 3M™ 6000, 7000, and 7500 Series. This Class 1 gas/vapour filter provides comprehensive protection against multiple categories of hazardous gases and vapours in professional and industrial environments.

Protection Classification

The ABEK1 classification covers:

• A: Organic vapours with boiling point > 65 °C (solvents, paints, adhesives)
• B: Inorganic gases and vapours (chlorine, hydrogen sulphide, hydrogen cyanide)
• E: Acid gases (sulphur dioxide, hydrogen chloride)
• K: Ammonia and certain organic ammonia derivatives
