TYVEK 500 CLASSIC XPERT KAPUCNIS OVERÁL

DuPont™ Tyvek® 500 Xpert (also marketed as Tyvek™ Classic Xpert) is a disposable, hooded chemical-protective coverall engineered from flash-spun high-density polyethylene (Tyvek® 1431N, 41 g/m²). This Category III PPE combines exceptionally low particle shedding with reliable barrier performance against fine particulates and limited liquid chemical splashes.

Key Protection Features

• Type 5-B (EN 13982-1:2004+A1:2010): Particle-tight protective clothing for solid particulates and dusts >1 μm, including radioactive particles
• Type 6-B (EN 13034/EN ISO 17491-4, Method A): Limited liquid chemical splash protection
• EN 14126:2003 certified: Protective clothing against infective agents
• EN 1073-2:2002 compliant: Non-ventilated radioactive contamination protection
• EN 1149-5 anti-static properties for electrostatic control environments

Chemical Resistance

Provides splash resistance up to 480 minutes against:

• 30% sulfuric acid (H₂SO₄)
• 50% phosphoric acid (H₃PO₄)
• 40% sodium hydroxide (NaOH)
• 12% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl)

Design & Comfort

• 3-piece hood for optimal head movement and respirator compatibility
• Stitched external seams with self-locking Tyvek® zipper and storm flap
• Elasticated wrists, ankles, face opening, and glued-in elastic waist
• Lightweight (<180 g per garment) with breathable, water-repellent fabric
• Flexible to approximately −73 °C; low lint shedding
• Available in white, blue, and green variants (same protection class)
• Sizes: S to 3XL with generous fit for unrestricted movement
