Honeywell PPE

Honeywell items on Traxfair span four areas: gloves, respiratory protection, hearing protection and fall protection. Glove models include Dermatril P743 disposable nitrile gloves, Tricotril 737 and Vertigo. The catalog also lists Honeywell respiratory items, earplugs and fall protection equipment.

Because the range is broad, the standard to check depends on the product line. Gloves carry EN 388 and, for chemical use, EN ISO 374-1. Respirators follow EN 149, or EN 140 and EN 136 for reusable half and full face masks. Earplugs are tested to EN 352-2. Fall arrest equipment has its own series: EN 361 for full body harnesses, EN 355 for energy absorbers, EN 360 for retractable devices and EN 362 for connectors. Hearing protection, respirators and fall arrest equipment are all Category III PPE under Regulation (EU) 2016/425.

Frequently asked questions

Is Traxfair an authorized Honeywell distributor?

No. Traxfair has no official partnership with Honeywell and is not an authorized distributor. Offers come from independent verified European suppliers that stock Honeywell products. Technical data, approvals and warranty terms are those set by the manufacturer, so check the EU declaration of conformity and user instructions for each item you specify.

How should I specify Honeywell fall protection in a request?

Use the full article number and describe the system each item belongs to, since harnesses, lanyards, energy absorbers and anchors must work together. Fall arrest equipment is Category III PPE, and EN 365 requires a periodic examination by a competent person at least every 12 months, so plan replacement components around that cycle.

Are Dermatril disposable gloves suitable for chemical work?

Thin disposable nitrile gloves such as Dermatril P743 are meant for short contact and splashes, not immersion. Check the EN ISO 374-1 type and the permeation levels in the user information for your chemicals, and change gloves straight after a splash. For longer contact, specify a thicker chemical-resistant glove.
